It will be Christmas Monday, so let’s drop all of this Happy Holiday’s stuff and say Merry Christmas! Next week I will say Happy New Year! When the secular Fourth of July comes around you don’t hear Happy Holiday. Yes, there are multiple religious holidays in December, so instead of going into a long diatribe about the subject; to those who may have read this column for twenty-five years, or to those who are reading this for the first time, I say to you and your families, Merry Christmas, or Feliz Navidad or Joyeux Noel, whichever applies.
