Last Saturday was such a pleasant day. It was delightful going to Crystal Springs to the McDowell Music Club's Tour of Homes. Four historic houses were featured on the tour. The event was well attended. The former Dr Long house in Gallman was one of my favorites. The tour ticket would also get you a free ice cream sundae at Mosh Posh ice cream parlor on Georgetown Street. I went back that evening to redeem the ice cream sundae and it was certainly worth the return trip! So much fun!
