RAYMOND GARDEN CLUB NEWS

RAYMOND GARDEN CLUB--- The Raymond Garden Club also submitted a poem written by 5th grade resident Zoey Byrd to the state poetry contest. Zoey received third place out of all the poems submitted. The theme of this year's contest was 'Plant America for the Next 100 Years.' Zoey read her award winning poem at the Garden Club's May meeting. RAYMOND GARDEN CLUB--- The Raymond Garden Club received several awards at the annual state garden club convention held in Natchez April 28 & 29. It was an honor for Raymond to be recognized by the state association for their hard work. Pictured are club members Kim Williams, LouAnne Askew, Torona Stokes, and Shirley Ware.
